The story
It was in Mainz in 1455 that Johannes Gutenberg printed the first book using his new invention, the letter press printing. From here he launched an information revolution across the globe. More than 500 years later, another invention revolutionised the way we share information and knowledge, the World Wide Web. Today, the written content available on the web far exceeds what a single person could read in a lifetime. And a new information revolution is emerging.

Our objective
In recent years this huge information and knowledge base was used to train specialized artificial neural networks, so called Large Language Models (LLM). With the success of these LLMs a new bundle of possibilities opened up for artificial intelligence (AI) based software. However, the general LLMs are only the first step. The next step is to develop applications based on these models that solve a specific problem, make a process faster, a product better. Our objective is to condense the power of the new models into applications.
Current work
Following this approach we are developing our first application nlbcad. Nlbcad is short for natural language based computer aided design. This means, creating accurate CAD models by describing them in natural language. The models are ready to be realized by a 3D printer, a CNC machine or similar and can be integrated into an engineering project.
